Activities and More

Activities And More is the creation of Teresa; author,
artist, crafter and seamstress. A wife, mother of two
and grandmother of three, I am “Jack of all trades and
master of many”! With years of experience caring for
my elderly grandmother who lived with Alzheimer’s
disease, and later working as an Activity Director of an
adult day care center, I found true passion working
with the senior population. I especially loved working
with those with dementia and connecting with that
sparkle in their eyes. What a blessing it is to bring joy
to their lives by getting them involved in fun activities!
It is definitely a “win-win” situation!







	I wrote a book, Activities For Adults With Dementia (A Caregiver’s Guide), filled with activities, craft ideas, discussions, word games, funny stories, riddles, theme for the day topics, busy work and much more! I decided to reach out to seniors, caregivers, and others across a broader spectrum to offer this opportunity to those who might benefit from it. That’s when I created my web site - Activities And More! As I progress, I will soon be adding two additional books, and eventually hand-made gifts, crafts and original art!
